A Wayward Friend

If I didn’t know better

I’d think the day had a

Mind of its’ own.  

Should I talk to it like

A wayward friend

Who doesn’t have a

Very good map?

It seems to wander

Without much purpose,

And that’s not what the

Experts tell you should happen.
